Life Choices Foods Review and Giveaway

I have been trying hard to come up with new and exciting foods to feed my family that is quick, easy and healthy. It seems to be one of the many challenges these days for sure to find something that is all 3. Healthy of course first but we all wait fast and easy. While I am at work I like something simple for my mom to cook for dinner.

Recently I have been introduced to a Canadian company called Life Choices Foods. Life Choices is a very healthy alternative to your regular everyday Kid approved meals like Mac & Cheese, Fish, Chicken, Meatballs, Pizza and the list goes on.

They have a wide variety of foods available that are rich in Omega-3, Fibre and low in saturated fat and trans fat free!

The Breaded Chicken Strips are made with premium quality chicken, that have been vegetable grain-fed and raised without animal by-products and antibiotics. Each chicken piece has their Multigrain coating which includes flax, whole grains and oats.

The Whole Fish Fillets are made from whole fillets of Alaskan White fish Pollock. It is Wild Caught and from Certified Sustainable Fisheries. They are also made with the custom-made Multigrain coating like the Chicken strips!

We had the opportunity to try out both of these products from Life Choices Foods. Right away before even eating I noticed that there wasn't any grease on my baking sheet! That is something I really don't like especially with fish. Everyone really enjoyed both the chicken and the fish. The fish went over really well, even with our picky fish eater. I like the coating a lot a nice change from the regular batters and so much healthier. The only thing that my husband and I thought could make the fish better was some more seasoning. I guess we could try to add some before baking but other than that I love these and will be feeding my family these healthy suppers more often. The price on both of these are pretty comparable ($9.99) to regular chicken and fish. They are actually cheaper even though these are found in the organic section of the grocery store and I bought them at Loblaws.

Where to find: Find a store near you, just remember not all stores carry the whole product line. Feel free to ask your store manager to bring in more products!
